Tales of the unexpected

October 21, 2021 By Dan Danbom

A customer at Printed Page today saw a Perry Mason mystery, "The Case of Too Many Murders," and asked aloud what constituted "too many murders." We agreed that even one is too many unless you're talking about the people who call about our cars' extended warranties. A young woman who collects old books settled on a … [Read more...]

Sweet Thursday

July 17, 2021 By Dan Danbom

One of the most important things you can do to preserve and protect your books is to cover the dust jackets with archival acetate -- often referred to as Mylar or Mylinex.  The covers prevent soiling and tears (but they don't protect your books from sunlight, so be careful about that). Bring any four books in on any … [Read more...]

A way to remember a book collector

March 22, 2021 By Dan Danbom

Books are such a fundamental part of people.  We are what we read in many respects.  The books we leave behind are a kind of testament to who we were. As a way to remember a book collector, and to honor his or her book collection, you might consider having us purchase the collection and then do a catalog of them.  … [Read more...]

Printed Page Bookshop is a local, co-op store co-owned by John and Dan. This Denver, South Broadway bookstore has some ten dealers and a variety of used books, including some signed first editions. I’ve met John and some other vendors. These people love books ans love what they do. It’s a great place to go, browse, and shop.

Stumbled upon this shop walking down Broadway. Dan is wonderful, kind, and helpful. So many great books to browse through with the company of the shop dog, Izzy. Left with a friend children's book for my friend's son. Such a great experience spending time in here!

Printed Page is a well curated and beautifully maintained “pre-owned” book shop. Sections are clearly labeled and if you have questions the owners are happy to answer any questions. The day I stopped in one of the owners, Dan, happily chatted with me and helped me choose a book as a gift for my son from a specific genre. It is obvious these owners are passionate about books and and sharing their inventory with the public.
