Had to turn these down

A visitor to the store yesterday offered to sell us a lock of Al Capone’s hair.  Unfortunately, and although that would unquestionably be something not every bookstore could claim to stock, we turned him down.  He also offered to sell us his collection of thousands of alarm clocks.  We suggested he try the clock shop next door.  He said he tried, but it was closed.  Bad timing.
